A LEAD
ACADEMY
LEAD Africa (LEAD) is a growing network of leadership academies that empower future leaders through quality education and sport. Each academy is founded by a local team, serving underprivileged children at the primary and secondary school levels.
LEAD’s first academy, LEAD Monrovia Football Academy in Liberia, opened in 2015 as the first school in Liberia to combine high-quality education and elite sport training. In 2019, LEAD launched its second academy, LEAD Morocco, at the initiative of one of LEAD’s Founding Board Members, Imad Izemrane.
Established in 2019, LEAD Morocco is a Moroccan nonprofit organization that uses sport as a positive incentive to improve academic performance, eliminate gender barriers, and empower Morocco’s future leaders.
